We have found that this product is the number one starting point for any car that has problems due to it having got wet. You may find that your soft top has been caught in the rain, or you may have had your seats shampooed at the valeters and the car was never dried properly, and now you find that you have a smell of mould and mildew. Treating your car with some diluted QGC will sort out the problem quickly and easily, although we do still recommend drying the car to ensure the problem doesn't return.
For flood damaged cars, Microban QGC is the essential first stage which will stop many problems such as mould and mildew before they can get started, not only will it destroy mould, it also acts as an inhibitor. And in the case of cars contaminated with dirty water (i.e. water which has been contaminated by sewer water), QGC powerful anti-bacterial and virucidal properties will ensure that the car is safe enough to work on so that that restoration work can begin.

Microban® QGC is the one-step disinfectant cleaner proven to combat a broad spectrum of bacteria. This product is offers virucidal (including HIV-1, the AIDS virus) and fungicidal protection as well as inhibiting the growth of mould and mildew.
This highly effective multi-purpose quaternary disinfectant is used in residences, commercial institutions, day-care centres, nurseries or restaurants. Microban QGC meets EPA standards for hospital disinfectants because it effectively kills fungi and viruses (including HIV-1, the AIDS virus and Herpes Simplex, Types I and II) when used according to label directions. It also takes care of MRSA, Salmonella, E.coli, Staph and Strep. QGC is a highly effective sanitizer for both porous and non-porous hard surfaces with a mint fragrance.
For carpet, use 4-to-8 ounces of shampoo per gallon of water to eliminate odours associated with urine, vomit, smoke, mould and mildew. In sewer damage situations, use 16-ounces of QGC per gallon of water to clean and deodorize affected materials. For non-porous surfaces, mix 2- ounces per gallon of water. For heavy-duty soil, mix 8-ounces of product per gallon of water.
