These crystals absorb odour (a bit like Odour Eaters)while giving off a pleasant citrus smell. These
can be used on vehicles with particularly persistent odours. The
tin of crystals can be opened and left in the vehicle overnight,
or crystals can be hidden within the car. The usual method is to
place crystals under carpets (place them on tin foil as they can
stain painted surfaces) or they can be put in a cloth bag and attached
to the underside of seats.
These crystals are powerful and designed to be used in domestic and commercial
buildings, the manufacturer's instructions suggest using 2-4 ounces
per 100sq.ft of floor space. This is a 6oz can, so there is enough
here to do many cars.
