I don't know why they call it polish, it doesn't polish and contains no 'cut'. I don't know why they have to give these products all these long silly names that don't actually describe what they do... but that is the only complaint because This product is fantastic!
How Fantastic is it? We had several gallons of the old PSP, but once they updated it about a year ago, and we tried it, we just threw all the old stuff away! It's now our top of the range wax. It goes on easily and wipes off easily without creating lots of dust, and it gives a great finish.
On new cars
PSP gives a wonderful shine, even on immaculate cars it will lift them that bit higher and so it's and ideal product to use from the moment your car is new, it will bring the best out of your paintwork while also offering great protection to maintain it that way.
On Black and dark colours
The real benefit of this product is it's effect on dark coloured cars. Everybody knows that black cars look great when they are new but they are murder to keep looking new because they show every blemish.
Every time you wash your car you will put millions of tiny microscopic scratches into the paint (It can't be helped!), when the sun shines and these catch the light you get a swirled pattern which is often called swirl marks, washing marks or spider webs, due to the radial pattern they make. Protective Sealer Polish contains fillers and diffusers to hide these micro scratches making your car look much younger -- sort of a wrinkle cream for cars, only this actually works. Protective Sealer Polish is really great on the new water based lacquers which are really prone to micro marring.

*Valeting Tips ~ When creating a perfect finish on a car, this product can be used on a panel by panel basis putting it on generously. On subsequent applications you can do the whole car at once. Cleaning out the applicator properly half way through (otherwise you have too much liquid in the sponge which upsets the balance of the product). You can apply Protective Sealer Polish as often as you want, and you can apply it in direct sunlight... again, would recommend doing it one panel at a time. |

We don't know how they do it, (maybe it's the Polymer K10?) but unlike other waxes that hide scratches, this gives a wonderful depth of shine. We have said elsewhere that AutoGlym's Super Resin Polish is the benchmark by which professional valeters in the UK judge other waxes, but we think that Protective Sealer Polish sets the new standard.
We sell this in 275ml bottles which is plenty because it lasts a whopping 5 months plus!
Five months is exceptional, in fact it's without peer for this kind of wax.
It has a long shelf life (if protected from freezing) and so there is enough in here to last the average user a few years.

Pros: Good all rounder, good shine, durable protection, fairly easy to use. Suitable for all cars, all colours and all types of paintwork - Base coat, lacquer, Metallic, pearlescent, and even plastic cars such as the SMART range. A product designed for the trade which can be taken advantage of by the general public.
Cons: - This is not a miracle cure - if you have a old car with really tired paintwork that needs a birthday, this will not make it look like new. But it never made that claim anyway. If your paintwork is oxidized, faded, dull and stained, then look for AutoSmart Luxury Wax Polish to bring it back, you can then use Protective Sealer Wax to maintain the shine.
